Uncle Bucks Fishbowl Restaurant

Monday, April 30th, Ray drove the motorhome in to the ICBC service centre in Langley for our 9am appointment and I followed behind with the car. After a few errands, including making a hitch appointment for the car next week (we will need one as we will be getting a boat for the lake) we were back home.

Waiting for Ray to get the parts from Traveland for the coach repairs.

Once back home the driveway needed to be hosed off as it was really dirty from where the coach stayed for the last 4 months and the yellow pollen from the fir trees was really thick like muck from the rain. Not a very great impression for potential buyers.

Today we had to be out of the house again for 2 showings so Ray and I decided to go to Tsawwassen Mills Shopping Centre and try out the Uncle Buck's Restaurant. This is attached to the BassPro Store. What a unique place. They really have decorated it like you are in a fishbowl There are 2 sets of bowling lanes which makes it a hit with the kids. They serve hamburgers, pizzas and fish and chips with a few other offerings on their menu. Fish Fridays offers all you can eat fish for $17.95. Good draft beer too.

This is what retired people do on a Monday afternoon. lol This is me waiting for Ray to come back from putting his back rest in the car so we could carry on wandering around. :)
After a lovely lunch we strolled through BassPro and then drove to the other side of the shopping centre to check out a few other stores in the strip mall behind the main mall. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Fortunately it was overcast and cool out so we did not have a problem keeping Freya cool with the windows and moon roof open. We cannot leave her home for the showings. lol We have another showing tomorrow so we will just sit in the car somewhere with her as it will be sunny. The second showing today got their dates mixed-up so they are coming tomorrow. As it turned out we went to visit Steve and Dianne for an hour with Freya.
