Thank goodness the wonderful people at Rock Island RV were able to help us out. Service Manager Kyle Jones sent over his technician at 1:30 pm to diagnose our electrical problem and it was the 300 amp fuse as we thought. They had the part and within an hour or so we were fixed. Yeah! As they were not coming to the afternoon we took a short drive up the valley to check out Champion Lakes. Very cloudy and started to spit. Lots and lots and lots of mosquitoes big enough to pick you up. A typical provincial park where the campsites are well away from the lake and heavily forested. Ray only took 1 picture of Second Lake.
The rest of the evening was quiet with on and off thunder showers.
Tuesday morning we woke up to cloudy skies with the prediction of more thunder showers so we decided to have a stay at home day. Ray tried twice to get into the hot tub at the pool but it was closed. They have really weird hours. I decided to make homemade Wor Wonton Soup for dinner with my own wontons. I was kind of a soup day, cold and wet with some sunny breaks enabling Ray to take the dog out periodically and otherwise taking it easy.
Thought of you Steve and Dianne. Making the soup took up a good part of my afternoon.
