September 7th
Here are a few pictures. They played for about an hour eating all of the coho that have come in.

It has been a busy week, three times into town (2x to Nanaimo) for various appointments etc. The boat has gone to the mechanic today for it's inspection and winterization. More stuff taken to storage this week. Time is sure going by fast. We expect to leave for the states by the 20th of October if all the appointments get finished with. Ray has a few more Pain Clinic appointments and then we are done! We hope to move out of the campsite on September 30th. The final communal party, the "rip and tear" will be held this Saturday at S & S time's lot. Most people have already left. I bet Ray and I are close to the last ones there by the end of the month. We are not minding the sunny days and quiet of it all.
So
busy had to party with Taunia and Wyatt It also got rather busy over at the FFP mill. They're salvaging a barge that broke it's back on some rocks. Looks like some welding caught fire. |

Freya's making sure she's included with this load! |
That's all our house and MackTush stuff in there! |
We have moved out in the open on
the dryland sort for the next week to "fine tune" living on the road.
Our last day here will be next Sunday, September 30th. We will move
to Taunia and Jason's house for a few days before heading out on the plane to Saskatoon for
Thanksgiving with Jason and Kristi. We will return on October 10th, visit
with Garrett and Sandra in Squamish, say goodbye to Ray's mom and my Dad and
then on Friday October 12th pick up the trailer at Arbutus in Nanaimo and head
to Victoria to get on the Coho Ferry on Saturday the 13th to Port Angeles.
Here are a few pics of our new view out of the back window of the fifth.
The humpback whales (up to 5 at a
time) have graced us daily back and forth in front of the campsite. None
however, have been as close as when we took the pictures two weeks ago.
So Cool!
