Solar Eclipse

Sunday, Garrett and Kat came back from the week's trip to pick up Kira. I think she was very happy to see her mommy and daddy! Thanks Kat for the chocolates, made from an old neighbour in Kamloops.

Monday, August 21st

Ray was outside trying different collanders to see the solar eclipse when he noticed the trees were casting incredible shadows on the driveway from the eclipse. The next door neighbour, Ray, myself and Larny all stood outside for about 1/2 an hour watching the event. Pretty cool Ray got some awesome pictures.

Showing that the moon has mostly covered the sun ... although this shows 100 suns!

Then there was this fantastic picture posted on facebook!

All in all a pretty exciting event.
