Amelia Rae Perry is here! January 2nd, 2021

Saturday, Jan 2, our newest granddaughter was born at 12:38 pm, Amelia Rae Kyle. What a cutie. She was 34 weeks so a bit of a preemie but was 5 lbs 13 oz, nearly 6 pounds which is a great weight. Mom and baby are doing great. She was on oxygen for the first 24 hour and then was good to go on her own. Can't wait to meet her when they get home.

She looks just like Jason did as a newborn. Jason was the one with the blue blanket.

Ray and I cannot wait to meet her when they get back home to Nanaimo. Being a preemie it could be a couple of weeks.

Ray and I toasted her birth... Zeus needed some love. He is missing his mommy.

Sunday, Amelia was off the oxygen and drinking a bottle from her daddy. Jason says she is a "nipple sleeper" and when you take the nipple out of her mouth she gets Hangry just like him. lol

We are all excited. Welcome Baby Amelia.
