Wow September is here! Kristi, Jason and Amelia come for Labour Day Weekend. Sept 1 - 3

Wednesday, my gardeners took all the deck flower boxes out through the house. They emptied them and took them under the sundeck out of the weather for the winter. Glad I didn't have to do it this year.

Friday, Kristi and Amelia arrived just after 5pm in time for dinner lol The next two days we filled with swimming, boating, going to one of the parks near us and eating. :)

See how low the water in the lake is this summer.

You usually cannot see the chain on the beach. The lake is down an extra 3 feet this year.

Wearing mommy's life jacket.

Amelia is into pushing everyone on swings. We were next door at Roy and June's. She likes it there because she can pick an apple while there. :)

Going for a ride in Papa's boat.

Warming up on Grandpa after swimming.

Swimming out to the dock to jump in to mommy.

Jason arrived early on Sunday as he's working on their landscape project Friday and Saturday. Now time to clean up the deck and put the furniture away for us. The kids sure were a big help carrying all the stuff for us. Jason also pressure washed the deck. We got Amelia all set up to watch as Kristi was also working with Ray putting it all away.

Before

Here is a of after ... boy does the deck look bigger lol.

After Jason cleaned up it was his turn to go to the park with Amelia. Fortunatey the Duck Pond park is only 10 minutes away.

We had chicken wings and loaded nachos for dinner. Amelia gave herself a sour cream facial. lol

Monday morning Jason left earlier. Kristi, Ray and I kept Amelia busy until her naptime which would be when Kristi would drive home, so back to the Duck Pond Park.

The highlight of this trip is the garbage truck giving her a demonstration. :) The man even showed all the controls how it made the truck "dance" like her Trash Truck show she watches.

I noticed this flower display across the street by the park. Gorgeous ... ideas's for next year?????

After playing it's time for Tim Horton's. Here Amelia is watching a crow on the wires outside.

Back to Roy and June's next door.

Finally tiring out, playing on her music mat from Aunty Judy.

A great weekend. The weather went from 27C on Friday and Saturday to a shower on Sunday and 18C. Fall is definitely here.

After Kristi and Amelia left, Ray took me for a late lunch at Jake's. No more cooking for me today. :) We spent the afternoon on our deck with the heaters on.
