Puerto Vallarta, Beach Days and Superbowl Party. Feb 8 - 11

Saturday and Sunday were beach days with the Superbowl Party Sunday night. Towels out to save our chairs first thing (5:45 am) and then back to our room for coffee. After computer time, we head to the buffet for breakfast. Usually sit on the beach until it warms up and then back to the room to change into bathing suits for the rest of the day on the beach. A pretty lazy life. Although the walk to the bathrooms and our hotel room keep up my steps. lol I think we do at least 8000 steps a day without going anywhere. :)

Here are some pictures around our resort.

Adults Only Pool with swim up bar.

On Saturday, around lunch time, the staff made this huge Paella on the pool deck. We didn't bother as the line up is as huge as the Paella.

On Saturday there's a "Foam Party" in one of the pools. The stuff's blowing everywhere with the wind.

Saturday night sunset.

Sunday the Superbowl Party started at 5 pm. We were in the lineup at the front by 4:30. Good thing as the lineup is huge and getting a good spot might have been a challenge. There's a Tequila tasting stand while waiting.

Our table of us, plus10 from Alberta are pulling for the Eagles, so we joined in. lol They won the game! The resort provided a great lineup of great food as well.

Here is a picture of our neighbouring resort, Villa la Estancia, a 4.5 star compared to ours at 4 stars. I think they have more a la carte restaurants and definitely more $$ to book.

Monday Feb 10, quiet day at the beach. I opted for another foot massage. :)

Candy anyone?

These boys decided they had enough of the sun selling their stuff and sat for about 2 hours in the sade of our umbrella.

Today's beach scene, so peacful.

Ray's new favourite drink, a mango tango. lol

In the morning the baby stingrays play in the surf. We tried to get pictures but they are so fast that by the time you click the camera they're gone.

There are some turtles in the ponds around the Ayami Restaurant.

It is amazing waking up everyday to sunshine and warm temps.
