Grand Canyon - Day 5 Sunrise at the Watchtower

Ray was up very early as he had made plans with Grace and Michael to take them for sunrise shots at the Watchtower and viewpoints near there. Looks like they had a fabulous time.

They started out at Lipan Point for the sunrise. Absolutely stunning colours.

Good morning Grand Canyon!

They popped back in the car and headed to the Watchtower for a few more sunrise pics.

Grace told Ray to take the picture below as she knows I love the contrast with the yellow rabbitbrush. lol

On the way out of the Desert View Watchtower, this guy showed up.

Their final stop was Grandview Point.

While they were gone at 8 am I was on the bus to Maswik Lodge to call Dish TV again. They changed the address zip code again so hopefully this time it will work. Got back to camp just as Ray arrived with Grace and Michael in tow. They are leaving today for Bryce Canyon. "Happy Trails" guys.

Again the dish did not work so I took the car this time to call them from another spot close to Maswik Lodge. I even saw more elk.

Ray spent the afternoon with "toes up" outside with Freya and I joined him when I got back ... still very few TV channels!!!! The tech I spoke to this time suggested we check all of the cable connections. So Ray did go up on the roof and check them and we ended up with Port 2 and 3 not working .... he managed to get 2 working again though. Another fabulous day.
